When most non-industry people think of an exotic dancer, they visualize a twenty year old who looks thirty-five because of all the cigarettes, alcohol, and cocaine she has done. This couldn’t be further from the truth today!

And Ladies, You only have one set of skin, so taking care of it is crucial. Just look at Jennifer Lopez here! I’m Jennifer McCumber, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for exotic dancer development all over the world.

My massage therapist told me a joke one time– she was telling an older client about advancements being made to help us live to be 120 years old. The older gentleman then commented, “Well, I sure hope there are some miracles being made in dermatology before then, or we are all going to look like zombies!”

He was right! Younger people today will look at older folks in their 60’s and 70’s and think to themselves, “Am I going to look like that one day?” The truth is, you don’t have to. Here are a few ways for beginning dancers to maintain younger-looking skin for many years to come:

1. Don’t over expose yourself to the sun, and when you go out into the sun, use a facial and body sunscreen every day! This is the number one thing every dermatologist will tell you who knows what they are talking about. Sun exposure is the number one thing that causes our skin to age – so protect yourself!

2. Drink at least as many ounces of water as your body weight, per day. Our bodies are composed of 90% water, and this is the best way to keep your skin hydrated at its deepest level. Flavored water or other beverages don’t count; it must be pure water.

3. Do not smoke! At my club, I am surrounded by cigarette smoke for hours on end. If I smoked myself, it would be much, much worse. Smoking is proven to cause wrinkles and cancer. If you need to quit, try acupuncture or see your doctor.

Make sure to wash your face every day! Exfoliating dead skin cells is key!

4. Do not drink alcohol. I don’t want you to be a prude here – Everything in moderation! However, as a dancer it is really easy to get caught up in the trap of drinking every night. Alcohol dehydrates you and that will cause wrinkles fast.

5. Use a moisturizer daily. After you step out of the shower, your skin is starving for some TLC. It takes 2 minutes to rub some body lotion all over, but will give years of life to your skin.

6. Your feet matter, too. I have seen so many people that have disgusting feet and toenails, not to mention deeply cracked heels. This can all be avoided with minor, daily attention. You can exfoliate your feet with a metal scrubber in 5 minutes (once a week), use a sea salt scrub with oil in one minute (daily after work), and put a thick lotion on in 30 seconds. Dancers especially can get funky-looking toes, but if you exfoliate, moisturize, and trim them appropriately, it will make a world of difference!

7. Avoid Diaper Rash aka “Stripper Butt”. This is a common phenomenon. Think about it. We are walking around in a club with just our G-strings on all the time, and if you are wearing a short skirt, your rear will make contact with many surfaces such as chairs, couches, people’s laps, people’s hands, the pole and the stage. You will build up a moist residue on the top layer of your skin. While all of this won’t exactly kill you, your skin may become irritated over time in the form of red bumps that just don’t seem to go away. There are two ways to remedy this: sit on a cotton scarf or hankie all of the time, or use Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. You can buy it online at www.buttpaste.com, and you can probably find it at your local pharmacy or Wal-mart. Just rub it into your backside and thighs, or wherever you have a tendency to get red bumps, and in a couple of weeks they should disappear.

8. Take Care of Your Face. When I started dancing, I noticed that I needed help for the skin around my eyes. Putting on and taking off makeup every night, plus late hours and partying, will wear on your skin. Use a cleanser plus an acne-killing lotion underneath your makeup to prevent pimples from forming when you dance and sweat. Always take your makeup off with a makeup remover cloth or creme before cleansing. Then, during your post- work shower, make sure you have a high caliber cleanser to remove any dirt and oil build-up!

Your skin is a large, complex organ with billions of cells that need TLC!

It is important to use a facial antioxidant serum before moisturizing in the AM or PM. Skinceuticals has a great line of anti-aging formulas that absorb almost immediately into your skin.

They also have wrinkle-fighters for fine lines, and great eye lotions to treat or prevent fine lines and dark circles. You can find them online at www.skinceuticals.com. Another fine source of lotions and all natural sunscreens is the June Jacobs line. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it. They can be found at www.beautyexclusive.com. They also have wonderful exfoliating and cleansing products.

Jan Marini Factor A Crème is an amazing crème that has the best and most potent antioxidant for your face and eyes: Vitamin A. I began using this crème after my Botox doctor recommended it, and I saw a difference within just a few days. It is a must for an exotic dancer to have around your eyes before you put your makeup on for work, and after you get home, just before you go to bed. It will radically diminish fine lines and make your skin look younger. But warning – do not wear it if you are going into the sun! It is a night-creme only!

I would love to hear your feedback so comment on the blog BELOW! This is Jennifer McCumber here with how-to-strip.com wishing you the best of success!

It's a fast way to look 5 lbs lighter!

Exotic dancing has been a blessing in disguise to so many women across the country. I’m Jennifer McCumber, former stripper, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for dancer development at gentlemen’s clubs across the country.

Just to hear that word brings back memories of my mom and my grandfather (who is, you recall, a plastic surgeon) screaming at me to put on my sunscreen. All jokes aside, tanning is something you really need to understand. If you don’t, at best you will get the sunburn from hell. At worst – and in all seriousness – you will get skin cancer. Here is what you need to know about tanning, and how it affects the dancer and the dancer’s health.

When a light-skinned dancer stands under the lights on stage, the illumination tends to wash her out. It makes it difficult for the audience to see the hard work she has put into her exercise program. The way to avoid this is by getting a colorful, even tan.

Tanning is our skin’s way of protecting itself from the dangerous ultraviolet rays of the sun.

Laying out in the sun by increasing your time gradually will help you build up a tolerance and prevent you from getting burned! Don't forget a moisturizing bronzer with sunscreen!

When our skin is exposed to these rays, the skin pigment remaining from your last tan has faded, but will become dark again; this is why you can seem to tan after just one day in the sun. However, your body has produced no new pigment to protect you. True tanning, during which new skin pigment is produced, takes considerably longer: a week to 10 days. It doesn’t pay to stay out in the sun for long hours at a time trying to rush a tan.

It is best to tan in stages. Experts recommend 20 minutes to a half hour a day in the beginning. Of course, this depends on your skin type, where you live, the time of year, and the altitude (the higher up you are, the stronger the ultraviolet rays). If you are fair-skinned and burn easily, you must take extra precautions. But remember, even the darkest skin can be burned and damaged by the sun if exposure is too long.

Experts advise not to sunbathe between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM, when the rays of the sun are most intense (and can therefore do the most damage to the skin), but that is exactly the time when most people prefer to lie out in the sun. So let me just pass on this warning: Excessive exposure to the sun tends to cause wrinkles and give the skin a leathery look, not to mention that it can cause skin cancer. Tanning, then, must be approached with a certain degree of moderation and care.

Getting high quality spray-on tans can help you to prevent sun damage and have a more dark, even tan than you ever thought possible!

One aesthetic consideration is that you don’t want your face to be darker than the rest of your body. Your face and your nose in particular tend to absorb a lot more sun. So take care to protect your face by wearing a hat or using sunscreen to prevent your nose and forehead from getting burned.

I have heard many horror stories and flipped through many photographs of my grandfather’s surgical skin cancer removal procedures. It is excruciatingly painful to have this done, not to mention that it leaves scarring. And once you develop skin cancer, you will continue to have recurrences of it over time.

I tan regularly; however, I use an antioxidant-rich, all natural bronzing lotion, and I moisturize my body from head to toe every night with an aloe-vera based body lotion, packed with vitamins. I rarely tan my face and I get a Mystic Tan whenever possible. This will help the fair-skinned person achieve a darker look than ever before!

Now that you are familiar with how your skin tans as a stripper, you will be more likely to get the color you need so that no man will be able to take his eyes off you when you dance!

You want your dancewear to say, "Come and Get me!"

One of the most important things you can do as an exotic dancer is make a good first impression with paying customers. What you wear and how you present yourself is the outward presentation to the world of who you are. It will also determine your income potential, caliber, and success as an exotic dancer!

Choosing the best dancewear is one of the top ways you can gain popularity and a cutting edge at your club! Since you will be judged initially based on your appearance, it is important to establish your look based on the image you want to create.

This kind of expression in relation to dancing makes a huge impact on your business. The cut of your thong, like the cut of a pair of Capri’s, can make your figure look completely different than another cut might. That bottom piece to your outfit can make you look chunky or it can be slimming. How well you are groomed speaks miles about how well you take care of yourself overall. Especially with the kind of money your customers can potentially pay you – they want an outward presentation that is as equally as high end.

The other issue is personality in your wardrobe. How can your dancewear make you stand out from the rest of the ladies at your club? How can you make yourself stand out to customers so that they are drawn to you? And most importantly, how can you use your wardrobe to earn extra money?

Finding the right exotic dance wardrobe especially for you is a lot of fun! We’ll answer all of these questions by first addressing your clothing options and how you can mix them up together. Each style will give you a certain appeal to a particular type of customer. You will find that you will look great in outfits you never thought you could wear!

There are three main categories of dancewear that I have outlined for you below that will help you in your search, whether you are purchasing outfits from your local adult wear store or searching for clothes online.

1. Formal Gowns: These are the most formal and expensive outfits that are very sexy, alluring and skin tight. The most elite clubs will require this attire. You can find formal wear that comes in a) fancy short skirts and bikini tops, b) longer one-piece outfits with a long slimming dress, c) all can come with jewelry and stones that are sewed on to the velvety fabric, and d) you can find them in bright colors that glow in backlight or darker colors that are slimming. If you want to give an aura of elite class, sophistication and have your customers wondering what’s underneath, check out this genre of dancewear!

2. Traditional Dancewear: This is a racy and more revealing type of clothing, but it is less expensive and allowed in the majority of clubs. It can come in the form of a sexy upscale bikini or a tempting outfit meant for role-playing! The material can be cotton and/or polyester and easily taken on and off for giving lap dances. If you want to give an aura of fun-loving sex appeal that can get any man’s fantasy roaring, go with the BEST brands of dancewear that are durable and will last through your many nights of athletic activities!

3. Lingerie: This will include your teddies, corsets, body stockings, garters, and hosiery. A great source for this kind of attire is a company called Baci. They have developed some of the sexiest lingerie I have ever seen, rivaling Victoria’s Secret and Fredrick’s of Hollywood. If you want to be a temptress vixen or a sexy supermodel go with the most durable and comfortable lingerie brands!

Just remember, your outfit should emphasize your best assets, and minimize your lesser attributes. If you have a killer backside, be sure to wear short skirts or bikini bottoms to show it off. Or if you need some help in that area, you could wear a longer gown or skirt that is more form fitting and will create a “bubble-butt” effect. If you have great cleavage, wear a plunging V-cut top and very long, dangling jewelry to accentuate it.

First impressions are everything in business, and this industry is no exception, so be daring and show what you’ve got! If you want to look slimmer, wear black, as it is thinning. Neon colors (green, yellow, pink, orange) also have a slimming effect and make you really stand out in the black light, especially if you have a good tan!

Another component that will make you stand out above everyone else is wearing very flamboyant and pageant style rhinestone jewelry. This worked at my home club every time as the jewelry flickered the light all around me, catching the customer’s eye to begin another opportunity for the sales process!

So how does all of this impact the customer psychologically? You might say, “What I wear doesn’t matter because my customers always want me to take it off!”

This is a dangerously untrue statement. Yes, part of the fun of a gentlemen’s club is seeing beautiful women topless, but what makes them want to see you topless is the fact that you are wearing something beautiful, sexy, and provocative!

Men and women who come to your club will want a fantasy experience. They know they won’t be able to take you home – patrons at gentlemen’s clubs are there to find the company of a beautiful lady who is very well dressed in her presentation – so that they can have the element of wondering about the unseen.

As soon as you take the element of “wondering” out of the equation – they get bored and stop paying you! On to the next dancer! You see, the more fashionable and alluring your dancewear is, the more time it will take to remove it, which makes your customers go crazy and want even more time with you!

A smart dancer knows that the right dancewear is a profitable arrow in her quiver of entertainment goodies to make her customers want to return again and again! (As featured in the upcoming issue of ED Publications.)

You can have a classy yet sexy look as an Exotic Dancer! Click on the picture to find some STUNNING Dancewear!

Establishing your style as a stripper is fun and completely natural. We don’t ever really think about why we like the bustier on the mannequin at Frederick’s, or why a particular chemise excites us. We just see it, go try it on if we have time, and pull our wallets out if we can afford to buy it.

Whether you are shopping for regular everyday clothing or buying for a special occasion, you go and try a few outfits on at your favorite stores and choose what feels most satisfying to you. Even when you shop for comfort or affordability, your choices of clothing still matter.

What you wear and how you present yourself is the outward presentation to the world of who you are.

This kind of expression in relation to being a stripper makes a huge impact on your business. The cut of your thong, like the cut of your Capri’s, can make your figure look completely different than another cut might. That bottom piece to your outfit can make you look chunky or it can be slimming.

How well you are groomed speaks miles about how well you take care of yourself overall. I find that men in general don’t like a look that is too fake, but at the same time, you have to put on enough makeup to make a difference in your look, and present yourself in a way that is stunning from the stage.

Again and again we find that conventionally attractive people are assumed to be more intelligent, more honest, more responsible, etc. than people we find less attractive. It is a subconscious judgment and unfair at times, but we live in a physical and materialistic world whether we like it or not.

Men place a significantly higher value on physical appearance in a partner than women do. This has to do with evolutionary psychology and how our ancestral human males sensed a more fertile reproduction rate in women who had the following features:

1. Symmetrical face
2. Full lips
3. Low waist to hip ratio
4. Proportion of body mass to body structure (or % body fat)
5. Youthful appearance
6. Straight, elongated vertical posture

Later in this video series we are going to go into how to choose the sexiest stripper outfits for your body type, but for now, I want to get your own wheels turning and discover the basics of what men will look for at your club so that you can get a head start!

Click here to view the embedded video.

I’m Jennifer McCumber, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for dancer education at clubs across the world to help today’s dancers become tomorrow’s leaders.

You may ask, “How do I get paid as a stripper inside the strip club? How much does the average dancer make in a night? How does this whole business work?” I will answer your first and most basic questions in this video.

Each club works differently, so it is important to understand how this whole process will work for you before you start working. If you have to get a manager to explain it to you a couple of times, don’t feel stupid. Ask questions until you understand specifically how your strip club will be like or dislike from the following four.

There are four common ways that you will get paid as a stripper.

You'll be putting more cash in your g-string by following this blog!

1. Cash from a Client for a Lap Dance

After sitting with a customer for a bit you can move things along by saying, “I would love to give you the most erotic time possible on this next song.” If he says yes, you proceed to give him a lap dance, then try to sell more than one, and then just keep going until he asks you to stop.

After you are done, you will tell him how much he owes, and he will pay you right then. Have a change purse handy that you watch like a hawk. Some clubs will let you keep your cash on the side of your G-string and wrap it with a rubber band. Just keep your cash on you, or close by where you can see it at all times.

For instance, if a lap dance is $25, you may have to give the club a cut – say, $7 of it. Many clubs let you keep all of your money from dances. You can also state your price, “plus tip,” as it is customary for customers to tip you on top of what a dance costs. Don’t be greedy, though; some clients get offended when you ask for a tip, so feel out the situation.

At my club, the price of a lap dance was $15, but it was generally customary for the client to give $20 across the board. So if you have a client that doesn’t seem to know what is going on or is new to the scene, just say “$15 plus a sexy tip!” in a bubbly way and they will do it. I would just charge the customer $20, however, it was against my club’s policy to jack up the prices so when in doubt, just tell them the actual price and be honest. Let them know what the deal is and that most people just give you $20.

2. Cash from a Client for VIP

After dancing with a client, you can offer to accompany them to a VIP or Champagne area. Many clubs require a customer to purchase a bottle of champagne or liquor to be able to enter this area with you. Some clubs do not require this. VIP is simply a more private room or section of the club where you and your client can relax on a personal level. At some clubs, you and he will be alone, with bouncers on the floor checking in on you from time to time.

You will take him to the VIP area. Different clubs have different rules about payment; some require payment up front at this point, while others collect later. Just be sure that you are direct with your client about pricing, and when and how he must pay, before the time comes. Remember your bouncer will get a cut of the payout as well. For instance, if a half-hour is $200, usually the bouncer will collect $30 or $40 that will go to the club. He will then hand you the rest, or ask you if he can give it to you on your way out after you are done with your client.

3. Cash from On Stage

When you arrive at your club, you will usually have to check in with your DJ to add your music and stage name to his rotation list of dancers. The first song, you will dance with your clothes on; the second, the clothes come off. Most clubs are not fully nude, so you will have a G-string on. Some clubs are nude on stage only, and not nude with lap dances. Decide what you are comfortable with and make sure you find out the club standards before auditioning!

Men and women usually come and tip you while you are on stage. They will put money in your G-string or just lay it on stage. You can keep all of this unless your manager states otherwise.

4. Credit Card for Dances or VIP

Gentlemen’s clubs do take credit cards. This is great for them because usually they have a 20% surcharge or some fee that gets tagged to the customer for using credit. Often they take a percentage of your earnings, too. Usually, if the customer uses a credit card, the waitress will go to the back and swipe it, then print out a voucher for you to redeem at your bar or front desk for cash. This document is important; it is the same as money, so by all means don’t lose it!

I’m Jennifer McCumber, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for dancer education at clubs across the country to help today’s dancers become tomorrow’s leaders.

As you venture into this new world you may know little or nothing about, remember that even the pros make mistakes on some of these points of Exotic Dancer Etiquette inside the strip club. Here is an extensive list of things to be aware of, even if you have been dancing for a long time. Think of this as the way you must function in order to enjoy and prosper in this Fantasy Society of Fun!

Create a true fantasy experience for your customer! Get creative so you don't have to get "dirty!"

1. Lap dances are a more private, one-on-one activity and should not be done near the stage or the tip rail. Not only is it disrespectful of the dancers onstage, it can even be dangerous. I accidentally put someone in the ER one time because he was standing too close to the stage and my heel cut his head open!

2. Sometimes you may share a stage with another dancer. Don’t be greedy over tips; pick up only what is yours, and share the bigger bills with the other dancer.

3. At some clubs there are multiple individual stages with one dancer per stage, but each stage should always have a dancer on it. If you are due to be onstage, be there, because a dancer on another stage will be waiting for you and losing time and money because of you.

4. Personal Hygiene – This is most important! Make sure you are always freshly shaven everywhere! Armpits, bikini line, your arms if they are hairy, legs and toes. Make sure if you have larger or pendulous breasts to put deodorant in your creases and folds. Anywhere where there is sweat, or skin that rubs against skin, there is body odor potential. I can’t tell you how many times I have smelled body odor on dancers that do not put deodorant on the sides and under their breasts. It is important to be freshly showered before your shift and have clean hair. You don’t want to smell bad for clients!

Also, do not apply lotion right before going to work. This will make the stage and/ or pole very slippery, and someone will get hurt. If you have oily skin or are sweating a lot, baby powder can help keep you drier and fresher. Keep in mind, however, that baby powder is just as slippery as lotion, so don’t do pole tricks if you’re using it. It can help with floor work, though, as it adds to the slide factor you may need onstage. I put a little powder on my knees so they don’t stick to the floor and bruise my skin so badly. Just don’t gob it on or another dancer – or you – might slip and fall!

You might be spectacularly gorgeous but chewing gum obnoxiously can be a major turnoff.

5. Do not chew gum unless you can control your inner, cud-chewing cow, but do use sugar-free mints, and often. At my club, they have banned chewing gum altogether because it ruins carpet and couches. Not to mention it looks trashy for a dancer to be smacking on gum. Plus, you don’t want to inhale it while doing a vigorous dance routine!

6. Do not use your cell phone on the floor. Keep it in your locker. Never set it on a counter-top for the house mom to watch; she will get busy with the other girls and someone will sneak off with it.

Back in 2008 when I was just getting started as an exotic dancer, I went to a club in Vegas where I met a woman who became one of my primary inspirations and an example of a true businesswoman. She was a dancer, and she had her money purse with her and her business phone. When she wasn’t dancing, she was constantly calling and texting her regulars to come and see her. She told me that you don’t have to sell your soul and do sexual favors to be successful even in Vegas. Her average income was around $800 a night. That is an amazing average even considering nights when you will make a bit more or a bit less. And most dancers only work 5-6 hours per night. $160 per hour isn’t bad income at all!

Operating the way the above dancer did, through maintaining constant contact with regular clients (according with her local laws and club rules) and marketing herself consistently, is the ultimate way to keep and maintain regulars. It is important to arrange a date and time with each client a few days or a week ahead if you can. It also helps you to make a written schedule of when you will work that week – and stick to it! Of course, you may want to have a business line that is separate from your main cell phone, and never give out your main number. You may want to get into the groove of things at your club first and add a line to your cell phone plan after you make some money your first week. You can even write off the expense of your cell phone if it is soley used for business!

The only meal replacement/protein/snack bar that I recommend is is the Zero Impact high protein mealbar. You can find these at AllStarHealth.com and at Bodybuilding.com, or simply go to your local vitamin shoppe and look in the protein bar section. A week before you start stripping I would recommend ordering a box or two. They are:

– Much cheaper in bulk than any other bar individually
– All natural with nothing artificial added
– Very low in simple sugar (unlike most other protein/snack bars)
– Has the perfect ratio of Carbs/Protein/Fat that your body needs
— You can eat half at a time (a full one is a complete meal, a half of one is a snack between meals)
– They won’t make you feel bloated (unless you are allergic or sensitive to whey protein, and in that case I would recommend the “Enjoy Life” brand of bars in chocolate flavors, caramel apple and more. They are free of the 8 common allergens including gluten, dairy, nuts, and eggs.
– Lasty, the zero impact bars taste awesome!

I prefer the Pumpkin Supreme Flavor, but Chocolate Peanut Butter is good too. Those are the only two flavors I personally recommend because, to me, the other flavors don’t taste as good.

It is wise, if possible, to start off with a slower, mid-week shift and ease your way into the weekend. Friday and Saturday nights can get very hectic, and you need to be very aware and confident with what you are doing during these busier times.

Also, the staff will have more time to help you get oriented on a slower night. Make sure you get to the club with your necessary documents to start working there. The club requires that you present them with original, legal documents including ID, social security card, and your exotic dancer’s license. They will likely need to make copies for their records. Just make sure you get your documents back!

With all of these things in mind you are well on your way to a successful first night as a stripper!

It is easy to be dragged down by someone else who is unsuccessful or miserable, especially if you are considering exploring a business like exotic dancing which so few people really understand. It’s an example of “crab theory;” when a crab tries to escape from a bucket of water and break free from the others, they will pull him back into the water. The same thing happens with people – individuals and organized groups – such as clubs, families, friends, partners, religious groups and even entire cultures. Anyone who goes against what everyone else is doing will get abused for it. But being different is the only way that you can ever become exceptional.

Being an Exotic Dancer - done right - is as elegant as any other performing arts. Take it from the music professor here!

Here are five core beliefs you must adopt in order to be successful with exotic dancing. These will help you stay positive and focused on stage, and off stage, too:

1. My body is a masterpiece; showing it does not make me ashamed or embarrassed. I get to do something exceptional that most people never experience first-hand. I provide personal, elite-level entertainment and fantasy by graciously sharing my beauty and charisma with an appreciative audience. I live what others only dream of.

2. I deserve the maximum potential income because I am beautiful, I make people’s evening an experience like no other, I keep my body in shape because my body is my business, and I work very late hours. I take pride in working hard at an honest living.

3. I am a professional performer and as such I deserve to be paid the same as any other actor, musician or dancer.

4. I am an actress, and my purpose at a club is to provide a night of fantasy and clean fun. My clients have a movie right in their lap and it is a fantasy performance. It is all make– believe, and that is understood.

5. I will make my clients feel like a billion dollars: important, special, intelligent, handsome – because no other woman in his life does this for him. It’s the reason he is here and willing to spend his money for my company in a Champagne Room. It’s a win–win proposition, and I will give a man the best night he has ever spent with a gorgeous woman – without even having sex!

I’m Jennifer McCumber, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for exotic dancer development at clubs across the country as well as online.

Here are a few basic steps to help you get started with the hiring AND the auditioning process at your chosen strip club!

Step One: Go shopping for a few basic outfits that compliment your figure.

If you can, take a man and/or girlfriend with you who will give you their honest opinion. You could also find an employee at your local lingerie or adult store to help you. You will need 4-6 inch heels – but make sure they are comfortable. You may also need medical tape to wrap your feet underneath where the shoes will likely chafe, to prevent certain spots from getting chafed and blistered the first night.

Always have an extra G-string or thong on you as well, along with a full backup outfit. Make sure you ask your manager what types of G-strings they allow.

Make sure that if you do not have your driver’s license and social security card or birth certificate with you at your interview, that you do have it at your audition, or before the first shift that you work; by law the club will need to make copies of these documents. Be sure you get your originals back, and store them under lock and key!

Step Two: Show up at your club early.

This will show them that you are punctual, reliable and serious about the job. Arrive at the club in normal clothes and have your makeup already done before you go. Most clubs have dressing rooms and areas for you to do makeup and get dressed. Until you know the place, however, be prepared for everything before you arrive.

Bring your own combination lock if you can, because you need to have a place to secure your belongings and your money. The club will most likely have lockers available. If the lockers are all booked, get on a waiting list to get one; meanwhile, store your things in the manager’s office. If you leave your money or your other personal belongings out they will get stolen.

Step Three: Make good friends with your DJ.

Talk to him about which two or three songs you would like to dance to. Pick something that makes you feel comfortable, and something with a good beat that will get the audience going. Your DJ is a master at choosing music that you will like AND that the customers will like to motivate them to tip you, so listen to him carefully!

Also make it a point to remember faces and names as much as you can. This can be difficult or overwhelming but you will become an expert before long if you try. Always talk to the managers to see how you can improve, and try to work a few night shifts. The money is generally better at night but arriving early during the day and working into the night is even more lucrative.

Last but not least – love your bouncers and all other staff! They will work for you if you work for them too! Don’t forget to tip them out well on your first night if you make some money. It is a lasting impression they will not forget – especially when the best clients walk through the door looking for someone like you!

Step Four: Focus on your freedom and sense of adventure instead of letting your nervousness cripple you!

I know, I’ve said in earlier videos that I was not at all nervous the first time I took off my top in a club. That was me and I was most likely the exception. You will probably be nervous and, if you are, that’s okay and normal. What I was nervous about was entering a whole new career, and being in a new environment like no place I had ever been before; you will likely experience this, too. Try to focus on your sense of adventure, excitement and freedom rather than letting yourself feel afraid. Think about meeting all these new people, getting comfortable with the other dancers, and maintaining your professionalism while still being courteous. But also remember you aren’t there to socialize; you are doing business. As long as you concentrate on those things, you will do fine.

Is it any wonder that most people who are involved in the gentlemen’s club industry stand for freedom of social democratic choice? It is people like Rick Santorum that are ruining it for the GOP right now. And for any inkling of support from the adult nightclub industry! They are so busy talking about “God’s Law” and what people should and shouldn’t be doing on their free time that they are completely eclipsing their audience’s view of the economy and national security.

We’re starting to think that they have a “Holy War” agenda instead of a “Let’s get this country back on track so we don’t end up bankrupt and rioting like Europe” agenda. From the moderate and liberal side of the political spectrum, people are screaming to “VOTE DEMOCRAT!” because their adult industry businesses “would be in jeopardy with a GOP president” that can appoint conservative supreme court judges who could therefore rule against strip clubs because of their religious bias when it comes down to case law, taxing and regulating in the court room.

Exotic Dancers may be considered “sluts” by some staunch conservative older judges, putting clubs at risk to look bad in the courtroom – but – what some attorneys and business men DON’T know is that they are putting their businesses and their country in much greater jeopardy, not by being Democrat, but by voting for THIS particular democratic presidential candidate, Barack Obama.

Here’s Why.

Romney will end Obamacare. Obama won’t.

Romney will cut spending sharply. Obama will increase it.

Romney will block grant Medicaid and food stamps and stop their growth. Obama won’t.

Romney will cut income taxes. Obama will raise them.

Romney will stop EPA regulation of carbon dioxide. Obama will step it up.

Romney will stop the NLRB from forcing unionization. Obama will continue it.

Romney will do all he can to help Israel stop Iranian nukes. Obama won’t.

Romney will crack down on Chinese currency manipulation. Obama is afraid to.

Romney will starve Chavez by curtailing purchase of his oil. Obama won’t.

Romney won’t bow to the Saudi monarch. Obama did.

Romney will restore defense cuts. Obama will disarm us.

Romney will approve Keystone and off shore drilling. Obama won’t.

Romney will push for school vouchers and choice. Obama killed it in D.C..

Romney will not cut Medicare to finance Obamacare. Obama is.

Romney will reform Medicare by using competition. Obama won’t.

Romney will stop debasing the dollar by printing more and more. Obama will print money.

Romney will encourage photo id laws. Obama will veto them.

Romney will appoint anti-terrorists to the Justice Department. Obama does the opposite.

Romney will call Islamic terrorists, Islamic terrorists. Obama doesn’t.

Romney will reduce the capital gains tax. Obama will increase it.

Romney will turn America around. Obama hasn’t, won’t and can’t. (More Dick Morris Commentary Here)

Adult nightclub industry friends and colleagues: if you need more factual proof, relative to your business, why Romney will in fact be an asset to our country and our businesses (because he will win the primary, not Santorum) vs. how Obama will continue to be a national liability and threat to the very lifestyle we call the American dream, keep reading…

This is the face of exotic dancers today. Intelligent, beautiful, sophisticated, and not promiscuous!

Everything we stand for here at www.How-to-Strip.com along with our partnering strip clubs across the country can prove that exotic dancers are in fact classy, sophisticated and educated ladies who want a decent shot at life, having a family, and earning a living just like everyone else. Some conservatives would retort, “Well that’s the same thing that drug dealers and prostitutes say about the dirty money THEY are making!” Here’s the difference for the uneducated crowd to know: Strippers are not prostitutes, they are not drug addicts, they do not do sexual favors for customers, they simply dance, talk and entertain just like actors in a movie would. So what makes this so wrong again?!?

Anyone that tries to take this opportunity away from women is discriminating against women’s rights, women’s freedoms of expression, and our favorite amendment – our FIRST amendment rights!

It’s time that we take the religious “requirements” OUT of being a conservative and embrace our Libertarian roots to return true freedom to the people of America and eventually the world. We will prove here that what needs to change fundamentally with our legal system is:

1. The collaboration of church and state needs to cease and desist.

2. Law makers and politicians benefiting off of big government programs, not what America wants needs to stop.

If the Right wing GOP cannot do this – then they are hypocrites for yodeling at the left for their big government mentality.

The right stands with the church and the left stands with the government. It’s not so different from a monarch vs the papacy in the old Roman Empire!

It's time that we choose freedom for all decent Americans, not just ones that are convenient for getting re-elected.

It’s time that someone, somebody stand with the PEOPLE of the UNITED STATES of America.

These people who will stand with us are libertarian at heart. If conservative politicians want to intelligently maneuver ahead of their time, secure positions of power and help our country and our economy for many decades to come, they will embrace libertarian values when it comes to freedom for individual rights, less government, and fiscal responsibility so that we don’t end up like Greece or Italy.

I understand that religious freedom is important. Our country was founded on Christian principles. I even consider myself to be Christ-like. You treat others how you would want to be treated, respect family values and the purity of children, and you conduct yourself as a good citizen, bypassing the whole lying, cheating, and stealing thing.

Christians will even get what THEY want with a libertarian philosophy! It doesn’t take much fact finding and tuning in to John Stossel to realize that massive studies have been done on the legalization of marijuana, prostitution, pornography, etc – to realize that this legalization would IN FACT regulate these industries to make SURE that they don’t get passed along to your children! What some Christians fail to realize is that this is a dirty world – this stuff is going to go on whether or not the church OR the government likes it OR NOT!

The fact that these industries are illegal makes it even more appealing, more desirable, and creates more crime and violence in an underworld that staunch Christians don’t want to be caught even thinking about!

But their tune is starting to change…

Wouldn’t you rather have some regulation going on and let the white collar people who don’t want to “go into the hood,” get their drugs, enjoy themselves with their wife, treat their medical condition, and etc. without risking getting shot?

Wouldn’t you rather expose this underground of crime and gangs to bring it out in the open — where authorities can see what is going on rather than pretending it doesn’t exist — and filling up our prisons and soaking up our tax payer dollars with inmates that don’t need to be there, so that we can put the ones that really DO need to be in there, in there?

Enough Said.

This is a repeat of prohibition all over again! I mean, the who’s who down to the lowest of the low of society were drinking liquor under the table in the 1920′s, while professing to be sober on Sunday to their congregations at church!

I guarantee you this is STILL GOING ON!

GOP – we love you for what you stand for fiscally, but please, you need to come out of the closet on these social issues because people are going to stop believing in you for having INHUMAN moral values that don’t exist in real life. And unfortunately, something that most of you probably say you don’t do, but you do it anyways, even if it’s just a white lie here and there…

Think of the future in a few decades, marijuana will be legal, gentlemen’s clubs will be considered morally OK, homosexuals will be able to get married in more states, college institutions will train our young generation to philosophize their way through politics by rooting for a “nanny” state because the degree they are getting won’t earn them any money (all while they have never had a career yet to be subject to the laws they claim to know so much about, like taxes) and there will be a lot more people who are dependent on a “nanny” state that will vote against “conservatism” if they don’t stop putting up these moral charades and evangelizing their rigid social beliefs that no one in their right mind would even have the nature to follow to a T.

A priestly perfect lifestyle used to sound good coming from the pulpit at your church, but that is all changing now as people are realizing that LIFE HAPPENS to us the other 6 days a week we’re not in church.

With technology today – this next generation wants transparency – something real and something true in their world, not a bunch of phony fronts against progressive lifestyle choices. People are OK if YOU or if I have certain beliefs, but they don’t want you to push your views on the way they choose to live their life socially.

Times are changing folks – yes Rick Santorum, you can hold on to your conservative and staunchly religious ideals for you and your family and your church even, and the funny thing is that we can all respect that from our “dark” side of the world, but don’t sit there, run for president, and then proceed to tell the American public on national television HOW WE SHOULD AND SHOULD NOT LIVE OUR LIVES in our own personal time and space, especially when this “negative affects” baloney doesn’t exist – because we mind our own darn business!

Further more, Rick Santorum is seriously misguided when it comes to his standpoint on porn. Porn has been around since the beginning of language development and writing for humans. It started out as drawings like the Kama Sutra and now we have sophisticated video technology today where consenting adults should be able to peacefully assemble during their free speech with one another, even if they ARE naked with a video camera!

Storming down porn sets, arresting people with joints, lobbying against strip clubs – all of this accomplishes nothing in the end except both parties paying their attorneys generously!

Why don’t we all just keep to ourselves and find the things in life we are passionate about that make us happy?

What makes humans so fascist by nature to want to tell everyone else around them what to do?

And how does voting for Mitt Romney relate to all of this?

Statistically, with Obama, we are on a fast track to a semi-socialistic nation, big government programs, a nanny state that rewards under achievers in society and penalizes the hard workers with higher taxes. We have Trillions of dollars that Obama has spent on an unconstitutional health care system, soaring gas prices, Chinese currency manipulation that penalizes the US, and Obama and his wife take separate jets, gallivanting all over the world on their fancy vacations instead of working to repeal the barriers to our economic growth!

And where are the JOBS!

And why aren’t we being more aggressive in going after other country’s nuclear weapons and domesticating oil? It seems to me that American politicians have gotten too fat and happy and they are forgetting about the blood, sweat and tears that it took to achieve the greatest life-style in the world, and how easily and eagerly it could be taken from us if we are not self-sufficient with our energy…

Obama wanted to raise the capital gains tax from 15% to 50%, but congress wouldn’t let him do it – and even Bill Clinton spoke out at the end of 2011 and said that tax increases would not help the economy! Contrary to what most extreme democrats believe!

To further this point, here are a list of Democratic presidents that sought to lower the tax rates, as worded by my friend Daniel Mitchell, Ph.D. It seems as though Obama is dropping the ball, yet again.

The trickle down effect - when the top 1% has more money to spend, invest, hire employees, etc, they take more risks because there is a greater reward factor.

The tax cuts of the 1920s

Tax rates were slashed dramatically during the 1920s, dropping from over 70 percent to less than 25 percent. What happened? Personal income tax revenues increased substantially during the 1920s, despite the reduction in rates. Revenues rose from $719 million in 1921 to $1164 million in 1928, an increase of more than 61 percent.

According to then-Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon:

The history of taxation shows that taxes which are inherently excessive are not paid. The high rates inevitably put pressure upon the taxpayer to withdraw his capital from productive business and invest it in tax-exempt securities or to find other lawful methods of avoiding the realization of taxable income. The result is that the sources of taxation are drying up; wealth is failing to carry its share of the tax burden; and capital is being diverted into channels which yield neither revenue to the Government nor profit to the people.

The Kennedy tax cuts

President Hoover dramatically increased tax rates in the 1930s and President Roosevelt compounded the damage by pushing marginal tax rates to more than 90 percent. Recognizing that high tax rates were hindering the economy, President Kennedy proposed across-the-board tax rate reductions that reduced the top tax rate from more than 90 percent down to 70 percent. What happened? Tax revenues climbed from $94 billion in 1961 to $153 billion in 1968, an increase of 62 percent (33 percent after adjusting for inflation).

According to President John F. Kennedy:

Our true choice is not between tax reduction, on the one hand, and the avoidance of large Federal deficits on the other. It is increasingly clear that no matter what party is in power, so long as our national security needs keep rising, an economy hampered by restrictive tax rates will never produce enough revenues to balance our budget just as it will never produce enough jobs or enough profits… In short, it is a paradoxical truth that tax rates are too high today and tax revenues are too low and the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now.

The Reagan tax cuts

Thanks to “bracket creep,” the inflation of the 1970s pushed millions of taxpayers into higher tax brackets even though their inflation-adjusted incomes were not rising. To help offset this tax increase and also to improve incentives to work, save, and invest, President Reagan proposed sweeping tax rate reductions during the 1980s. What happened? Total tax revenues climbed by 99.4 percent during the 1980s, and the results are even more impressive when looking at what happened to personal income tax revenues. Once the economy received an unambiguous tax cut in January 1983, income tax revenues climbed dramatically, increasing by more than 54 percent by 1989 (28 percent after adjusting for inflation).

According to then-U.S. Representative Jack Kemp (R-NY), one of the chief architects of the Reagan tax cuts:

At some point, additional taxes so discourage the activity being taxed, such as working or investing, that they yield less revenue rather than more. There are, after all, two rates that yield the same amount of revenue: high tax rates on low production, or low rates on high production.

We have learned two lessons here from the course of history:

1) Lower tax rates do not mean less tax revenue.

2) The rich pay more when incentives to hide income are reduced.

There is a distinct pattern throughout American history: When tax rates are reduced, the economy’s growth rate improves and living standards increase. Good tax policy has a number of interesting side effects. For instance, history tells us that tax revenues grow and “rich” taxpayers pay more tax when marginal tax rates are slashed. This means lower income citizens bear a lower share of the tax burden – a consequence that should lead class-warfare politicians to support lower tax rates.

Conversely, periods of higher tax rates are associated with sub par economic performance and stagnant tax revenues. In other words, when politicians attempt to “soak the rich,” the rest of us take a bath. Examining the three major United States episodes of tax rate reductions can prove useful lessons.

Dominick T. Armentano states:

Though Presidents Hoover and FDR unbalanced the federal budget, created the Reconstruction Finance Corporation (to bail out banks and businesses), enacted the National Industrial Recovery Act, engaged in massive public works projects (WPA), and inflated the money supply sharply after 1934, nothing really worked. After 10 years of political and economic unrest and uncertainty, the unemployment rate was still 17.2% on the eve of our entry into WW2.

Laissez-faire economic ideas (deregulation, tax cuts) are currently out of favor but the fact remains that the Krugman and Keynesian policies of bailouts, deficit financing, and public works have never really worked. They didn’t work in the U.S. in the 1930’s; they didn’t work in the 1990’s in Japan.

They don’t work because they prop up unsustainable investments in the private sector rather than clear the way for new entrepreneurship. And they don’t work because government central planning is hopelessly naïve (they even have trouble mailing out rebate checks). Sometimes in economics (as in medicine) doing “nothing” (allowing the system to heal itself) works better than drugs with nasty side effects or bureaucratic attempts at reconstructive surgery.

In conclusion – Exotic Dancers and the entire gentlemen’s club industry are Libertarian by nature – yet they struggle with the two establishments present as the Republicans want to shut them down and the democrats want to over-regulate them with taxes. This industry and many more independent voters of other industries in America will almost certainly choose a democratic president so that they can continue doing business in peace with a president and federal judges that will respect their first amendment rights too, not ONLY the first amendment rights of opposing religious organizations.

Is this our reality today because the church is “good” and supports “family values?” And because strip clubs are “bad sinners” who “advocate loose sex?” Who has made up these ridiculous rumors? I can tell you from experience – I grew up in church with my “happy” family, and I was no better off than a child that has a mommie as an exotic dancer or club owner. In fact, I was much worse. On the other 6 days we weren’t in church my dad was an alcoholic for many years and I saw cocaine on our living room table for the first time as a 5 year old. But yet, we were staunch Christians, didn’t listen to secular music or worldy movies and didn’t “unequally yoke” ourselves with non-Christians.

How is that for family values?

Our neighbors were also staunch Catholics, but the husband was cheating on the wife, got herpes, and have it to her! Surprise!

When I became an exotic dancer at age 25, I finally felt like I found my home, I was around people that supported me, that looked out for me, that kept me from making stupid decisions, that kept me much more morally responsible than I ever had under the direction of any church. Why?

Because exotic dancing is a respectable, legal business withOUT the funny business in those well-run establishments that heed their legal counsel. We are a closely-knit family that looks out for one another, providing clean, fun entertainment for adult men and women all over the world.

Adult night club patrons aren’t the criminals and low of society that most people think. They are good Christians, Republicans, Military Men fighting for our country, young men and women out to have a good time! They, like us, want to put our faith in politicians that will look out for our best interest and preferences and not be ashamed of standing for what is right, true, and just.

Learning how to become a stripper has saved countless women and their families from the harsh alternatives like bankruptcy, poverty, or not putting food on the table for their families. It has also served women in being able to afford a college education when their families cannot. I’m Jennifer McCumber, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for dancer development at clubs across the country as well as online.

Now, I know you’re excited about getting hired as a stripper, so it’s time to go to a strip club yourself. You might as well have a look at clubs you might want to dance in, so choose a club relatively near you, either in your own city or, if you prefer, just outside your usual traveling circles.

It’s probably best to go with a friend, especially a male friend, since some strip clubs frown upon unescorted ladies (competition for the working dancers) and some services are only allowed with a male client present. You might be allowed in if you tell the hostess you are considering working there, but don’t count on it. If you do go with a female friend, make sure she “gets it” and can be supportive of your interest in becoming an exotic dancer, and will take you seriously as you explore this opportunity.

It’s a good idea to check out new clubs during times you would want to be stripping, because clientele and general atmosphere are surprisingly different on different days and at different times of day. Though you are going in as a customer, remember you are also thinking of working there, so be sure to present yourself well. Be respectful that the dancers are working, pay for their time if you want to talk with them about their experience working in the club, and let them know you are thinking of being an exotic dancer yourself so they will tell you what you need to know.

The following are some good questions to ask:

1. What are the names of your top managers? Which manager is working now? Could I please speak to him/her?

2. What time is the best time to come in and audition?

3. Do I need an exotic dancer’s license? Where do I get this? Do I need to bring my driver’s license and/or social security card?…

4. What are your best nights to work?

5. What are your hours of operation?

6. Do I need to bring money for a locker and for a house fee?

NOTE: Be nice and act in a professional manner. Many times the hostesses at the front desk have a say in who gets hired as well. Usually they will try to blow you off because they are busy collecting money at the door, so do try and ask for a manager.

Giving the impression that you are sexy but classy will make a statement to any manager who interviews you. You will be considered a smart, valuable, asset!

Not every man likes large breasts or a tight butt, so appreciate what you have and carry yourself well. Who knows, you might even get hired right then and there on the spot!

Gentlemen’s clubs have a variety of women working in them, not necessarily airbrushed women you see in magazines.

When you arrive at your chosen strip club, make sure that you go to the front desk and let the hostess know that you are interested in becoming a dancer there. Be friendly and smile! Shake hands with everyone you meet. Look your best. When in doubt about your outfit, wear whatever makes you feel most confident.

The hostess will either call a manager or take you back to his office. Someone on staff will usually come out and look at you, which is a final approval before they even bother talking to you. It may be the manager or a bouncer, or a house mom. Sometimes they will view you in the dressing room and ask you to walk around; occasionally they will hire you on the spot in your normal clothes.

I recall auditioning at one club as an exotic dancer in Houston. I was looking great that night and the hostess immediately called a manager up after I told her my intentions. I happened to be there at the same time as another lady that was just not cut out for the job. In order to avoid obvious discrimination, the manager told both of us that they were not hiring at that time. I knew he was covering himself because gentlemen’s clubs are always hiring. After being rejected, I managed to catch the manager as he was leaving (after the other girl was heading for the exit), and I informed him that I was really serious about working there because I was an evacuee of hurricane Gustav the week prior. I had traveled for hours to work there. I even told him that I had regular clients at my home club that currently live in Houston, and that they would come spend money there just to see me. The manager then went to get an application and hired me right on the spot. Sometimes it takes a little persistence and effort but you can often work the situation to your favor!

Choosing your strip club is one of the most important business decisions you will make as an exotic dancer. Your club will determine which customers you will be marketing yourself to and how much income potential you will have. I would recommend finding the top three strip clubs in your city as your highest priority. Some jurisdictions have laws against gentlemen’s clubs, so you may find they are just outside of your city limits or county line. Once you locate your local clubs, be cautious in choosing which ones you want to work in.

There are three types of strip clubs and I only suggest working in the top two categories of establishments:

1. Upscale Gentlemen’s Clubs
2. Neighborhood Men’s Clubs
3. Lower Tier “Titty Bars.”

Upscale Strip Clubs will have a high-end clientele. Club services and alcohol will be pricier than the alternatives. There is often a membership requirement as well. This is great because the more money the client is spending, the more money you will make. In my opinion, it is always best to work at a high-end club. If you watch this video series and abide by it, you will quickly become the top exotic dancer at your club, so settling for working in a lower-end club – even in bad economic times – is not necessary. In every business, the top 20% of earners will make 80% of the money.

Under no circumstances do you want to work at a low-end or questionable club because:

1. Your safety is compromised
2. You will not be respected and treated like a lady by staff or customers
3. You will not have access to the elite doctors, attorneys, and other high-income earners in your town because they will never patronize these dives
4. You will constantly be dealing with riff-raff

The best way to find strip clubs in your area is to go to The Ultimate Strip Club List . This website offers reviews from other girls who’ve worked at these clubs and have left feedback – good and bad.

You can search Google by typing in the keyword “gentlemen’s clubs” followed by your city name. I wouldn’t pay any attention to comments or blogs from non-industry sites because much of this information comes from clients and not dancers. My personal favorite source for gentlemen’s club news and other information about the business is ED Publications. Do this research because the only way for you to know if your club is a great place to be is to do your own investigation.

An ideal strip club should have the following:

1. Qualified, skilled staff that works efficiently and also maintains a proper balance between serving the dancers and serving the customers
2. Bustling locale with upscale clients who aren’t apprehensive about spending ? Outstanding security that makes the club a safe working environment, and safe for
customers who are drinking
3. Must contain VIP or Champagne Rooms, preferably with doors that do not completely shut and/or do not lock
4. A strict “no touch” policy (e.g. limits on physical contact are enforced)

Click here to view the embedded video.

From women who’ve worked on Wall Street to women paying their way through college, exotic dancing has saved many women’s lives, careers, and even their children from the alternative of moms loosing their homes and even their jobs in this economy. All without having to compromise their moral values like in much of the infamous myths about this profession!

If you are apprehensive about doing this business of exotic dance I completely understand! Or maybe you have taken the plunge and there are people in your life that have a big problem with it. This apprehension happens mostly because society has always trained women to do only what is traditionally considered ladylike, socially acceptable, and polite. This is why most women in the previous century were either teachers, nurses, or secretaries – not that those things are bad at all – but what if a lady didn’t want to do that? What if she wanted to be an engineer? Too Bad – secretary school for her! Women were also told to cover their ankles and shoulders because it was provocative. I say that trying to control women’s decisions, lives, and limiting their options of FREEDOM for the sake of ego, power, and medieval ideals is the most horrid evil around! However, things are a lot different now than they used to be, and there are quite a few examples of this.

Here I am as a Hooters Girl in College!

Consider the following points of reference.

Working at Hooters. Before I became an exotic dancer, like so many young college women today, around my sophomore year in college I became a Hooters girl. The truth is that exotic dancing is very similar to a Hooters waitressing job; really there is not a huge difference between the two. You wear tight clothes, show cleavage, promote a fun atmosphere – and you get hit on by the clientele quite a bit. At Hooters there are many beautiful women all working in one place, and men come there seeking interaction and entertainment.

At Hooters, there are beautiful, friendly women working there that men avidly come in to talk to. These women give men a “GFE”—girlfriend experience—with an attractive young lady who will simply sit down with them and talk to them about their day. This is exactly what exotic dancers do. We will show men or women that we are interested in who they are and what they have to say, not just in selling them our looks, food, or drinks.

There is, however, one major difference: the income! It’s amazing that I worked hundreds of hours at Hooters during my two–year stay, but within the first few months of being a dancer I made much more money than I ever could have dreamed of making at Hooters.

This is just one example of how exotic dancing is like any other established, respectable business. It all comes down to sales and marketing: The business aspect of exotic dancing is like running and promoting any other company, and it is the best business education you can get as a young person because there is little risk, no going into debt, no overhead and you have no employees. Just you, starting with the basics and learning how to be independently wealthy without the headache of having to get a business loan or please investors on the chance that you might make a profit.

Movies

Movies have, of course, changed over the last 100 years. They have changed even more dramatically, however, in the last 10–20 years. One of my all–time favorite movies is The Sands Of Iwo Jima, starring John Wayne. It is about World War II, and was made in 1949. War movies back then were completely different than they are now; especially in the “kill” scenes. For example – If you were watching soldiers in a bunker get attacked and killed, do you think you would see blood, guts, and carnage in a movie that was made in 1949? Absolutely not! The way the audience knew someone died from enemy fire was by changes in the music: it would change tempo and then climax in a scary, depressing sort of way. That was it! No blood or guts onscreen, but lots of tears shed by the audience. If you produced a movie like that today, not only would it do poorly in the theatres, but the screenplay wouldn’t be bought by a production company in the first place!

Now, the opposite end of the spectrum is a contemporary movie called Saving Private Ryan. Most of you have seen this movie and know it has an extreme amount of blood, guts, and carnage right from the opening scene! Even 20 years ago Nancy Reagan would have spoken out against allowing movies like this to be produced.

Nowadays, if filmmakers don’t come to the table with at least the visual excitement of what you saw in Saving Private Ryan – and probably even more graphic violence would be expected – not only won’t it do well in the theaters, but you and your screenplay would be laughed out of the production companies’ offices!

Gambling

Gambling in the United States originated in Las Vegas. Las Vegas was a very obscure town until the mid 1980’s; a place where you dressed up in a jacket and tie to gamble and dine in style. No Exceptions; this image was taken seriously and enforced. It was a very formal place where you would never bring your family. Well – maybe your mistress’ family!

For many years, the only two places in the US you could legally gamble were Las Vegas, Nevada and Atlantic City, New Jersey. With the introduction of the Mirage Super Casino in 1989, the landscape of Las Vegas, and gambling establishments everywhere in the US, changed forever. By making casinos “family” destinations instead of “where–I–take–my-extramarital–affair” destinations, other states slowly began to consider gambling as a way to increase their tax revenue. As a result, 13 other states have now legalized gambling. That’s a total of 450 casinos in the United States generating around 72 billion dollars annually.

Ladies and Gentlemen: In case you missed the point, gambling has gone mainstream. Do you think this would have been the case 20 years ago?

Marijuana

In California, you may now buy marijuana legally with a license – which is very easy to obtain, by the way! There is a bill currently in the House that, if passed, will legalize marijuana in California so that the state can collect tax revenue on it. That would be a smart move by the state since the 14–billion–dollar marijuana business is worth over twice the take of the 2nd place finisher – milk and cream.

Trinkets and Thongs

You see adult novelty stores on practically every corner these days – in neighborhood shopping centers and even right off the interstates leading into the most obscure towns. The funny thing is, not only are these “sex shops” open 24 hours a day, but I have driven by these places at all hours and I have always seen them busy! Amazing! You’d almost think people are having sex nowadays like it was a natural thing to do. Stores like Victoria’s Secret are in every mall in this country. Any five–year–old walking in the mall can see a mannequin sporting the latest in thong fashion!

Job Fairs

This one will surprise most of you. Just recently, because of the recession in the US economy, a gentlemen’s club on the East Coast held a job fair! Now, if exotic dancing is truly so outlandish, there is no way that this club would have – or even could have – hosted a job fair. But they did and it was a huge success! Not only was it good for the club, it was excellent publicity for the entire industry. Things have really changed!

Pole Dancing deserves to be an Olympic sport - it is like gymnastics, except on a vertical bar instead of a horizontal one.

THE OLYMPICS?

Yes! You’ve got it! Pole Dancing is being considered for Olympic status! This truly completes the paradigm shift of society and shows that people are recognizing the difficulty of this art as a SPORT. It’s like a gymnast on a horizontal bar, except this one is vertical. And it’s a sport that allows women to reveal their true power of finite detail and muscle strength and control. The only question left is, will it be 2012 or 2016 before this becomes real for America? And will the pole dancing federations allow the sport to grow into an olympic sport and become even more internationally respected and legitimized, or will they try and hold on to their power?

Pole Dancing Classes

Every major city these days has a pole dancing studio! This is where they teach pole dancing classes, where ladies come in to learn the art and sport of pole dance. The most prestigious place in the country to do this is in Los Angeles, CA, at Sheila Kelly’s S Factor Studios. These ladies even wear sexy high heels while they dance! It’s great to see women getting in shape while leveraging their strength and femininity.

Check out the US Pole Dancing Federation 2011 winner, Natasha Wang’s video on youtube, and any doubt you have that this is NOT a sport or an art will be permanently erased from your mind! This same skill and choreography is used in the basic Lap Dance on a smaller level.

Exotic Dancing is a mainstream, legal, respectable business that is backed by our first amendment right which enables us as free citizens to express ourselves. If we are professionals and serving the needs of our customers just like any other business, and withOUT the funny business, it is simply unconstitutional for any other person or organized group to try and take away our freedoms of expression on our own private or business property. You will not see strippers outside parading against churches on a widespread level or anyone else that would like to be able to make their own beliefs a reality. All we ask for is the same respect!

There are a few people who are quick to judge and base their opinions on ideals rather than facts, but one club chain, Rick’s Cabaret, is even publicly traded! Look them up on the NASDAQ under RICK.

Case in Point: The Gentlemen’s Club Industry has gone mainstream, is legal AND much more respectable than many other businesses in broad daylight!

Who are you thinking about voting for in the election of 2012? That is a very personal question and one meant for your personal reflection rather than public acknowledgement. Since this will be the most important presidential election of our time most likely – I have felt the need to reveal some riveting stories, facts, and unique perspective as politics greatly affects the survival of our exotic dancer industry – and how much money you can bring home as a stripper!

When I was in college and in my early twenties, I was as liberal as liberal could be. I was part of the new “social media liberal arts college movement” that was harkening the arrival of what would be Barack Obama, our agent of change. I remember when his book, The Audacity of Hope, came out about one to two years before he ran for president. I read it ferociously, agreeing with the ideologies of leading with fairness for all.

The reason? Simply this: I was rebelling against hypocritical religious dogma, judgmental social circles, and closed-minded individuals that told me how to run my life. I was brought up in extremist churches where drinking, dancing, and watching rated R movies was a sin. Sex before marriage was a sin. Listening to secular music was sinful as well.

This is what the media, my friends, and some of my college professors told me about how being liberal was different than being conservative - and I fell for it!

I became a music major and surrounded myself with the creative, the dramatic and the liberal. I began to abhor people who looked down on homosexuals, women’s choice, and a plethora of other things that seemed to be fun to do in college!

I was dating a guy at the time who proclaimed he would vote for Hillary Clinton and take advantage of government programs. He was the kind of guy that wanted to milk “the system” if he could. He could never keep a consistent job. He always quit everything he started.

Even though I developed these strong political beliefs as a twenty-something year old, I didn’t have the slightest clue about what national debt meant. I even had one of my graduate school classmates tell me that the national deficit wasn’t a big deal – and that people blow it out of proportion as to how it affects us as individuals in this country.

I hadn’t the slightest idea what stock market values and tax rates meant. I always made below $20k per year working part time in college to pay my living expenses as I had an academic scholarship that paid for a large portion of my education.

I always thought that the stock market and tax rates would have little to do with me! After all, I wasn’t some company on Wall Street or part of the percentage of the population that gets taxed 35% of their income, not including whatever their state income tax was. I grew up in Florida, which doesn’t have state income tax so I didn’t even know that state income tax existed – and must be filed on a separate form from federal income tax.

The New York Stock Exchange - after all - how does this affect YOU? And how can YOU impact IT? Vote for less government rules!

On a day I will never forget at the beginning of 2008 all of this changed forever – and something happened to me that I thought was impossible.

After I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master of Music Degree I went out into the real world and got a job (before I discovered exotic dancing!). I started making around $35k/year as the director of marketing and public relations for a music related non-profit.

I noticed that before taxes, my paycheck was around $792/week! That is a lot of money for a 25 year old just out of college!

Then I noticed something I never did before – the amount of money I brought home was only around $450-$500. That is just around $300/week that was being taken out of my check by federal taxes, state taxes, Social Security, FICA and others.

I began to think about what I would do with that extra $300 per week if I had it at my disposal – that’s enough for a nice car payment or my share of the rent for the month, or clothes, food, a vacation…

Then I started asking my boss questions. I asked him WHY! He said it was “out of his hands” and that I could thank the government for taxing the hell out of his business, which he was then passing down to me.

I said to myself, “THE GOVERNMENT!?!”

I started a facts finding quest. I was determined to figure out how politics work, because if the government can take so much money away from my check every week, what else are they doing against my best interest? And what’s this hubbub from conservatives about tax cuts?

I certainly wanted some tax cuts at that point.

This is when I realized a universal but simple truth about politics, as inspired by my NEW boyfriend at the time (who is now my husband!): If you think that the government knows how best to spend your money and run your life, you are a liberal. If you think that YOU know how best to spend your money and run your life, you are a conservative.

I had never heard it put so elegantly in my life. I was previously so bogged down by different political scenarios and social/lifestyle choices that I completely neglected to learn anything about how the economy REALLY works from an UNBIASED point of view – just the facts — so that we CAN have a country where we have freedom to choose! After all, money does make the USA possible…along with grocery shopping, fixing your car, getting to work, going on vacation, or whatever else you want or NEED to do.

Forget about the democrats and the republicans for a second. We are simply discussing economic and political philosophy here.

Exotic Dancers have their first amendment right just like a variety of religions in the USA. Remember - exotic dancing is a LEGAL business with a major chain on NASDAQ. It is not right for religious groups to try and shut down strip clubs and inhibit our first amendment rights as women to do business LEGALLY and provide for our families. Ladies, it is time to make your voice heard.

You might be saying, “Now wait a second. Aren’t conservatives very religious and against exotic dancing and other progressive lifestyle choices? Aren’t THEY the ones that tell you how to run your life?”

That is the same question I asked, because I was not going to be told to go to church every Sunday like a good girl should and give up my F bombs with my friends and a bunch of other things. I worked at Hooters in college and loved being rebellious, so this was a serious issue for me.

Here is the deal – while there are some Christian conservative related groups that are extremists and judge people for looking at them the wrong way, conservatives stand for the freedom of religious or social expression SEPARATE from government mandate. Meaning, if you believe in God and you want to hold prayer meetings or Bible studies or speak out about your values, you should be able to do so based on our first amendment freedoms.

You should also be allowed to choose between being Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Episcopalian and a plethora of other faiths and religions both Western and Eastern.

Where many conservatives go wrong is proclaiming that you HAVE to believe the way they do, pro life, against gay marriages, anti-strip clubs, etc. etc. etc. They lose much of their moderate/independent audience d0ing that because people today are more open minded about CHOICE and FREEDOM than ever before – whether that is deciding to have a See You at the Pole prayer meeting at their school, evangelize about their faith, become an exotic dancer, become a homosexual, drink alcohol, smoke a stogie, or use contraception of some sort. Hey, we might even get a little excited and go to a casino and GAMBLE! Or better yet – order a dildo from my favorite sex store, TabuToys.com!

Keep in mind, exotic dancing businesses ALSO have THEIR first amendment freedom to be in business and to supply a huge demand for classy, fun, clean entertainment as well! It is legal after all and the first amendment works BOTH ways…

This is where Libertarianism comes in.

It's best to let people be individuals. The government can't save people from themselves.

Libertarians are completely exotic dancer friendly – and choice friendly! Within the “conservative” spectrum, they are far to the left of most Republicans in that they believe government shouldn’t have ANYTHING to do with the choices we make socially and life-style wise. They are characters like Ron Paul and John Stossel who are pro-choice, pro-strip clubs, they want to legalize drugs like marijuana, they think gay people should be left alone to live their lifestyle if they want, you get the idea.

Their central philosophy is a laissez-fair mentality that people can make their own decisions and that collectively as a society, we are much better off doing so. Government can’t save people from themselves.

Fiscally (financially) they are far to the right of conservatives, meaning they are more conservative than the conservatives! They believe in the LOWEST taxes, giving much more money BACK TO YOU because you earned it and the government didn’t. Since the government didn’t earn it, they won’t be as careful with it, and they will be wasteful, inefficient, and take away from the “private sector,” which consists of the nation’s businesses like Wal Mart, UPS, Albertsons, JC Penny, Macy’s, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Amazon.com, and YOUR EXOTIC DANCING BUSINESS!!! And, any other store that you as a citizen can choose to go and purchase products from.

You see – if the government is getting MORE of your stripping money (because after all, you are required to pay taxes on your own!), you have LESS of it to spend at the stores you love, and therefore, the economy will suffer as a result because all of that money will be going to bankrupt solar energy companies like Solyndra that have wasted 500 million dollars of our taxpayer money, instead of going to you and your family for things you need to buy!

I want to REALLY put this into perspective for you. Most strippers are in the 25% tax bracket if they make between $35,351 and $85,650 as of the current 2012 tax code. If you are making more than that you can see where you fall in the chart below!

The best policy is to just save it before you spend it - so when the IRS comes knocking on your door you won't be paying backtaxes for decades.

So what this means is, if you live in a state with NO state income tax, which includes Florida, Texas, Nevada, Alaska, Washington, South Dakota, and Wyoming, you only have to pay the government 25% of your income PLUS a 15% self-employment tax.

A 15% self employment tax!?! On top of 25% federal! That’s 40% of YOUR INCOME going to Uncle Sam! And if you live in 41 of the OTHER states that DO have a state income tax on top of all of that — you’re looking at 50% of your income, GONE!

The Communist Party, USA, has officially endorsed Barack Obama and the Democrats for Re-election in 2012. Doesn't that seem a little weird that an agent of free "change" would be getting support from communists? Something is amiss here...

What does this mean for your exotic dancing business? And how does voting for the president relate to all of this? You may even be saying, “Well, I’m a “sole proprietor” as a dancer so I don’t really own a “business” like the businesses I see that have brick and mortar stores, so I can get around paying these taxes! After all, why would the government care about what I make as a stripper?”

If Obama gets re-elected, he’s going to raise taxes and crack down on every business he can… to find as much money as he can… to put towards government programs.

If you want to keep giving HALF of your income every night to the government, be my guest! But I am going to vote for someone that wants to bring in a 15% – 20% flat tax, or otherwise reduced tax rates, like Mitt Romney. Hopefully he will keep his promises – but anyone is better than a communistic Barack Obama at this point!

Liberal politicians want you to make $500/night and give them $250, make $800/night and give them $400, make $1,000/night and give them $500 – all to go to other people who don’t work, government growth and micromanagement of our freedoms, decreasing our ability to make choices, decreasing our ability to do business, and decreasing the economy’s ability to come back!

Everyone always asks why oil and gas prices are so high, why medical costs are so high, and the answer is — HIGH TAXES and INCREASED REGULATION! The government inhibits the free market’s ability to operate the most efficiently they can, and so where does this cost get passed to? The customer—you and I! They have to stay in business SOMEHOW! And the point of owning a business IS to make a little money…hopefully!

So what happens if you skip out on your taxes and don’t pay them? Well – the IRS will probably be auditing you in 5 years and you will have to pay them then, plus penalties and interest, even if you don’t have the money!

There are only two things you cannot escape in this life – and that is death and taxes.

Just think of how much muffins, cookies, ho-ho's, or any other treat that you want costs at places like Wal Mart, Target, Costco, or even Starbucks! No where NEAR the cost of what the government paid for these! Do you see how when someone doesn't EARN YOUR MONEY, they take advantage of you?

It would be irresponsible to pay NO taxes, because much of it goes towards keeping us safe, roads, and etc, but anything else is inefficiently used because – drum roll please – the government is not running a successful business! They aren’t turning a profit, they are in debt, and they are wasting enormous amounts of money on $16 dollar muffins and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and too much welfare and micromanaging how parents should raise their kids. What will become of this country that was founded on freedom and individuality and initiative?

If a “private sector” business like Apple for instance pulled this kind of failure and folley, they would not only fire their CEO but they would be headed straight for the swirling toilet of bankruptcy. Why can’t the government be held accountable? It CAN if the people stand up! The problem is – the ones who are making the laws are the ones benefiting from all of this corruption! They need to hear what WE THE PEOPLE have to say about this!

It’s about time we fire our country’s CEO for denying a pipeline that would have created jobs, for saying he will create jobs but not doing it, for failed alternative energy plans and a hugely failed Obamacare health system. Do you think you’ll be able to get good medical care in 20-30 years? Think again – you better start saving a TON of money stripping because all of the good doctors who can really get people well are discontinuing their participation with most insurance companies. They are “out of network” so that they can get paid for what they do! Which means, you will be paying the full boat of CASH with no help. This is already beginning to happen.

None of this may matter to you now, but what DOES matter is that if Obama is re-elected:

1. Your strip club may go out of business because the regulations and the tax rates will become so inflated.

2. Your patrons will spend less money because they have less money in their pockets to spend because they are paying more in taxes.

3. You can say goodbye to your frequent high-rollers who spend hours in the VIP room because their investments will most likely loose value because of the down economy and falling stock market.

4. The dollar will continue to lose it’s value because the national debt is so high that it (our dollar) will have little meaning anymore. Translation – you will be paying more for getting less.

5. AND – you will be spending ALL of your money to fill up your gas tank, because the price of gas just keeps going up and up and up…

Is any of this ringing true yet?

From the feedback I have gotten from strippers around the country, this has been one of the worst times for making money. There is a reason for that…

Exotic Dancers are the most individual, rebellious, and courageous women in the world. They are too smart to give away their freedom and their rights to an ideological Liberal society that will make them poor and communistic.

Obama is the most extreme liberal president this country has ever seen. How do you define liberalism? I would know because I used to be one! It is a mentality that what is best for the group is best for the individual, not the other way around. It is a controlling, socialistic, micro-management mentality that is based in reactionary fear. It is much like the tactics that Hitler and Stalin used to charismatically address their people publicly, preaching redistribution of wealth and fairness for all.

Let me ask you something – what if your manager at your club told you that you had to give HALF of your income away every night to the girls that didn’t do so well? AFTER your tip-out even! Or, if you worked at a club where it didn’t matter what you made, your tips would be shared equally with all of your fellow dancers?

You’d be out the door in a heartbeat!

That is what liberalism is like. Liberalism rewards the underachievers in society and penalizes success and wealth – all for the sake of “evening the playing field.”

I don’t know about you, but I have no desire to share my tips, dress the same as everyone else, live my life the way they tell me to, be micromanaged by a bunch of politicians that want to take my money for their government “programs,” or any other seemingly innocent ideological ideas they have! Because it will cost you and I our freedom and our money!!!

It is time that we as exotic dancers take back our economy, our customers, and our income! Whether you like it or not, your money WILL BE AFFECTED by the 2012 election. If you want to make the best living for yourself in the exotic world, go vote the conservative ticket in 2012. You will not regret it…

From women who’ve worked on Wall Street to women paying their way through college, erotic dance has saved many women’s lives, careers, and even their children from the alternative of moms loosing their homes and even their jobs in this economy. All without having to compromise their moral values like in much of the infamous myths about this profession!

Erotic dance has been around since the beginning of mankind as part of many religious ceremonies. It appears to have begun as far back as the Cro–Magnon era. Historically, Ancient Babylon, India, the Orient, and the Middle East have practiced goddess worship in the form of erotic dancing rituals as part of their cultures’ religious worship. Evidence can be seen in pagan rituals such as dancing around the Maypole.

Exotic Dancing has been recorded in countries like ancient Egypt, Syria, and Turkey. In some cultures dance was performed for entertainment purposes, and in others, to appease the gods. In Egypt, dances were performed for the fertility goddess, Hathor, and in Greece, Aphrodite.

Cleopatra was known as a fierce and sexy ruler.

The term “exotic” refers to anything that is extraordinary in an exciting, unusual way. Belly dancing, with its origins in the ancient Middle East, is considered by many to be an exotic dance, though some also perceive it this way because of the focus on sexy hip movements. Most belly dancers I have known hate this stereotype, because belly dancing is historically created by women and for women to strengthen their back and child bearing muscles, not for men’s enjoyment or pleasure.

Exotic dancing in varying forms has also been prevalent throughout the history of Western society. One Western form of exotic dance is American burlesque which grew from earlier forms of striptease. The art of striptease was introduced into American burlesque shows in and around the 1900’s. In Paris, France, there was the Moulin Rouge. Some sources credit the origin of striptease as we know it to an act in 1890′s Paris in which a woman slowly removed her clothes in a vain search for a flea crawling on her body.

Old school burlesque exotic dancers had just as much fun as they do today!

Currently a very popular erotic dance form is pole dancing which appears to have originated in Oregon. A popular account is that in 1968 a dancer named Miss Belle Jangles performed the first verifiably documented pole dance at a club called Mugwumps. Pole dancing eventually gained popularity in Canada, and from there was performed in Central Europe and Great Britain, then traveled as far as Russia and Australia. Today pole dancing is performed widely in and outside the gentlemen’s club industry. There are widespread pole dancing classes and competitions all over the world today. At this writing, pole dancing is even being considered to become an Olympic competitive sport.

From women who’ve worked on Wall Street to women paying their way through college, exotic dancing has saved many women’s lives, careers, and even their children from the alternative of moms loosing their homes and even their jobs in this economy. I’m Jennifer McCumber, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for dancer development at clubs across the country as well as online.

There are some misbeliefs that we need to burst before we immerse ourselves in further discussion of exotic dancing.

There are some things that are more valuable than money.

Misbelief Number One: All exotic dancers are prostitutes who trade sexual favors for money. This dangerous and offensive myth is absolutely and positively not true. In every profession, there are promiscuous women, and exotic dancing is no exception. However, there are an abundance of educated and respectable women – wives, virgins, moms and deeply religious women – in this and all other industries.

Much of this issue depends on what club you choose. If it is a high–end club with strict rules, you will have far less “funny business” going on. Most dancers I know are absolutely against prostitution; they simply dance, talk and entertain, just like I did. You do not have to do anything intimately sexual to be successful and make a ton of money dancing. Just conjure the illusion of fantasy and sex appeal by using your creativity!

One thing you have to remember as a dancer is that you provide what I like to call The Human Experience. Men don’t come to clubs just for alcohol because they can get that at their local liquor store. They don’t come to clubs just for a lap dance, either, because if they want to see naked women they could pick up an issue of Playboy for much less. What they come to the club for is to experience that human interaction with a live, warm, smiling female with personality (and a nice body) to talk to and to make them feel special.

There's nothing wrong with them - but they are NOT a requirement!

Misbelief Number Two: You have to have large, fake breasts to dance.
Also not true. At my club the breakdown is about half natural and half fake. There are women with small, medium, and large breasts, and their bodies are many different shapes and sizes. There are also beautiful African American women, Hispanic women, Asian women, Caucasian, and Russian women. No matter what your “look”, there are men who will appreciate you and give you their money. You just have to be confident in yourself and believe you are sexy! The most beautiful dancers rarely make the most money; it is personality and charisma that
wins every time.

Misbelief Number Three: All exotic dancers have substance abuse issues.
Drugs and alcohol inhibit your judgment and allow you to do things you wouldn’t normally do – which can destroy your earning potential. I have heard a few stories about dancers getting drunk and losing their money, losing track of their VIP time, or discovering their money was stolen by a client or another dancer because they weren’t paying attention. Mess up here and there goes your job, and possibly your health. The dancers I know who don’t drink are the most successful. None of the dancers at my home club have drug problems and most are paying their way through college.

Of course, I am not trying to be a prude here! There are situations where you should have a drink or two (if you’re 21 or older), like if you are with a high-end client. Some men will find it insulting if you do not have a drink with them, but it should be worth it and you should be very careful. One of my dancer friends almost got raped because her customer slipped a date-rape drug into her drink. BUT – unlike a normal night club where the women are left to their own wares – her bouncer caught the man in time and the dancer was left safe and unharmed! Strip clubs prepare for the worst and are safe places to be! They take their security seriously.

A method that I love to use when dealing with this is to ask the waitress if she can bring you a fake shot. One drink you can order, called a Lemon Drop, looks very real when made without alcohol, plus it contains almost no calories with just water and lemon juice in it. Some waitresses will give you a hard time about this because they are not allowed to charge for fake drinks. This is when you need to find another waitress to work with who cares more about you and your safety than the $5 tip she would normally get from that one drink. You can also have her bring you straight Diet Coke or Sprite, but order it as Crown and Coke in front of your client.

Exotic Dancers do more than stand there and look pretty to make money....

Misbelief Number Four: The money comes easily.
It all depends on what your definition of “easy” is. If “easy” to you is sitting on the sidelines drinking a beer and munching a bag of potato chips then, no, this will not be easy. However, what if I was able to show you a clear and certain path to success? What if all you had to do is follow my program exactly as outlined in order to attain all of your goals and dreams? In other words, no guesswork! Just listen, apply and make money. To me – that is easy! If making a six–figure salary as a dancer was easy, then everyone would be learning how to become a dancer. You need to know the ins and outs of the trade because knowledge is power. This video series will maximize your potential and significantly increase your nightly income.

Misbelief Number Five: Exotic dancers cannot be in a relationship.
Of course you can be in a relationship. As long as your partner is understanding and knows that what you do is a respectable business, there is nothing preventing you from maintaining a relationship. You could cheat any time you want to, no matter where you work; if you are going to cheat it is not because you work
at a gentlemen’s club, it is because of other completely personal issues. I do recommend that you tell your clients you are single, because it is part of the fantasy to create the illusion that you are attainable to them; this, too, is just business.

As a matter of fact, you need an awesome boyfriend (or girlfriend) or husband who understands you and can be there for you, and who is not jealous, if you are to be the most successful at this. Someone who can mentor you and help you with the business aspect. Someone who may be a little older and more experienced, who wants you to succeed in whatever you choose to do. Just remember, we are the average of the 5 people we are around most, so the quickest way to get somewhere in life is to be around others every day who are going places too!

Misbelief Number Six: Exotic dancers have low self–confidence and crave
attention all the time. On the contrary, I have found that exotic dancing has actually increased my self– esteem, and I have seen the same thing happen with other dancers as well. It gave me a solid reason to finally attain my best body ever. After all, your body is your business in this industry, so the better you look, and the healthier you are, the more confident you will feel. This means more money from your clients.

Misbelief Number Seven: Bartenders, waitresses, and shot girls don’t make nearly as much as dancers.
You would be amazed at how much money a waitress or bartender brings home, and they don’t even take their top off! Again, it’s all about being confident, knowing you are the best at what you do, and proving it every night. Regular clientele is key to your making lots of income, and entertaining them well is vitally important. Men come to a club for The Human Experience, and often have a regular waitress but may choose among multiple dancers. If you can make them feel particularly special by doing your job well, you will make more here than at any other job!

Without realizing it, some would say that determining what you are most passionate about in life is easy. That couldn’t be further from the truth for most of us. The reason?

A deep passion will tap into your soul.

It’s simple.

You’re so caught up in routine day-to-day activities and keeping your head above water with your current (or could be your former non-stripping!) J-O-B (Just Over Broke), that you hardly have time to catch up when you do have a little free time, to the point that your underlying spirit and passions are being subdued and covered up, like a blanket while you sleep, keeping you warm and comfortable, but not happy.

Sure, I know what you’re thinking right now:

“Jennifer, I know I’m passionate about my kids, my family – I love my J-O-B, etc., etc.”

The truth of the matter is that, while some of that may be true – obviously we love our family, friends and some of the activities that we take part in – our true passion, and what I am about to get you to reveal about yourself, is something else entirely.

I’m talking about a selfish Passion – a need to align with your true self, with what you love doing, and what you would do if you had no burdens or responsibilities in your life right this second. Something that a career as an exotic dancer can give you the time and money to do on your own.

Don't be afraid to pursue something difficult but rewarding.

I’m talking about a Passion that sends chills down your body when you think about it – like when you hear an awesome song, or at the most joyous and momentous occasions in your life.

I’m talking about a passion that raises the hairs on the back of your neck and gives you goose bumps.

A Passion that makes you feel so good and true to yourself, that the physical and tangible parts of the world no longer matter to you because as long as you had this One Thing in your life, almost nothing else would matter.

This ain’t no ordinary hobby or activity I’m talking about here!

This Passion is within all of us and it’s your job to discover it and nurture its presence. When fed properly, following this Passion leads to a life of total and complete fulfillment and purpose, and allows you the joy and benefit of making lots of money, becoming financially free and opening you up to become an even greater human being, so that you can help others in much greater ways than you can right now.

To allow you to make high levels of income following my Freedom V method, and be able to fund whatever business – or Passions – that you have, and then invest your money in such a way that you can retire a multi-millionaire, many times over!

Pursue your dreams to the max.

Let me ask you a few questions: Would you say that there are things in your life that you have given up on or even forgotten about because you simply don’t have the time to devote to them anymore?

Even though you are obviously passionate about your loved ones, do you feel that there is something missing at times and that you aren’t reaching your true potential?

So what am I getting at? Quite simply, I’m merely pointing out that even though we may feel that we are doing exactly what we want to do, oftentimes the reality is that we are doing what we feel we should be doing, either because of responsibilities (someone has to bring home the bacon), or because we’ve been lulled to sleep by mundane routine, or we are so caught in a rut that we haven’t let our creative side come out to play and experience the true passion that we feel for something other than what we are currently doing.

One quick note: Please don’t feel guilty about these feelings.

It’s why you’re reading this right now – to figure things out and get a handle on your future as an exotic dancer, and maybe even another career as well – to learn more about yourself so that you can overcome your past obstacles and reach the higher level of success you’ve been craving. To use exotic dancing as a tool to fund your passions, or maybe it actually IS your passion.

OK, this is all fine and dandy you say, but how can you determine if you are following your true passion?

It boils down to asking yourself four questions:

1. What are you obviously NOT passionate about?

2. Who are you when no one is watching?

3. What would you do if you had no responsibilities in your life?

4. What one thing would you do to help other people? Our country? The world? Or other businesses or families?

Don't be lulled to sleep by society. Break free and take leadership!

Remember: If you have the hunger and passion for something, and are doing it for the right reasons that align with who you are, nothing will stop you and money will always be abundant.

Jot down your ideas over the next few days or weeks.

I promise you, if you are honest with yourself in every way possible, at the end of this exercise your true passion will be revealed.

Go out and serve the world in whatever way suits you and, above all else, follow your true heart and soul when directing your life’s journey. From that will flow riches beyond your wildest dreams.

From women who’ve worked on Wall Street to women paying their way through college, strip school has saved many women’s lives, careers, and even their children from the alternative of moms loosing their homes and even their jobs in this economy. I’m Jennifer McCumber, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for dancer development at clubs across the country as well as online.

Let me ask you something. Do you have a certain group of people you tend to hang out with more often than not, be they friends, family, or business associates? Would you say you are “comfortable” with them? Sometimes to your detriment? Who you hang out with, what you watch, what you listen to and what you surround yourself with, all matters!

Don't get caught in the gossip and negativity in the exotic world. Stay FOCUSED on making your money to better your life!

Think about the people around you and some of their actions, and things that they have said or might say in the future. The saboteurs, for example, who ask us to eat out with them when we are trying to remain strict on our meal plan. Or the friendly phone call telling you not to bother with whatever it is you are doing because you’ll probably fail anyway. The gossip. The blaming other people. The downers. The underachievers.

The “friend” who asks how you are doing, but really can’t wait to talk about themselves. I could go on and on, but I know that you know exactly what I’m talking about!

There’s a subconscious layer of fear within all of us, and it lies in the grass like a snake waiting to bite us when we least expect it. That fear leads people to act in strange ways towards us, often resulting in actions that go against their words. Their fear of losing you – of your changing who you are – of your bettering yourself and securing your financial future – scares the living hell out of them – and that fear manifests itself in very destructive and negative ways.

The only way to completely protect yourself from the insidiousness of people’s negativity is to simply avoid them altogether and remain clear and focused on your true self, your passions and your path.

Just because you’ve dated or been friends with someone for years doesn’t mean that you have to continue to have them in your life – especially if you know they are always trying to take you down a notch or two because they are jealous, don’t know any better or just don’t “get it” when you try to explain to them what you are all about and trying to accomplish.

A smart stripper knows to make good choices even if they are very HARD to make.

Drop the dead weight in your life.

It might not be easy, but I promise you, things will change in a hurry when you aren’t constantly fighting off negativity from others at every turn. Find some new friends, start a mastermind group with like-minded successful individuals that you want to emulate, start networking with those who are where you want to be and learn from them – get a coach, mentor or trainer to help you – basically do whatever you have to do to surround yourself with successful, positive and passionate people, and then emulate their successes.

Those that aren’t positively contributing to your success, leave them quietly behind and move on. Be prepared to face judgment, ridicule and shocking comments about your exotic dancing. But it doesn’t matter! Why? These people do not have to live your life. This is the reason why I chose to remain as anonymous as possible before building this blog and writing Champagne Every Night.

I have discovered an empire of wealth, waiting for you to join!
What Do YOU Want To Do?

Click here to view the embedded video.

From women who’ve worked on Wall Street to women paying their way through college, exotic dancing has saved many women’s lives, careers, and even their children from the alternative of their moms loosing their homes and even their jobs in this economy. I’m Jennifer McCumber, author of Freedom V, feature columnist for ED Publications Magazine and I’m leading the movement for dancer development at clubs across the country as well as online.

I want to take the time to address some very serious issues here today in Strip School. Before you can be successful at exotic dancing – or at life in general – there are some key points that you must consider about your money. No one else will be able to teach you this unless they have years of business experience. Even then, over 80% of businesses fail within their first five years. Stay with me – this video along with my Freedom V program will enlighten you beyond belief. You will learn things that only a very elite crowd in the entire world know.

I had a self-limiting belief that all I really needed monetarily in life was to be able to shop at Wal-Mart and grind away paying off little amounts of debt each month and “rewarding” myself with the occasional dinner out or trip every few years.

Now mind you, these weren’t actually purposeful thoughts (who in their right mind doesn’t want to make more money?), but thoughts lying just beneath the conscious level. Thoughts from my friends, parents, co-workers – from society as a whole. The thoughts of mediocrity that we are all brainwashed to have from birth.

The reason for this way of thinking was because my financial “thermostat” was set to “super low”. In my mind’s eye, what I had been taught and programmed to believe through years of watching my parents, living on my own, and forming my personal financial blueprint (which sucked big time I might add!), was that in order to feel “right” you had to “earn” your money, and work really, really hard.

In my mind, making money had to be a grind and difficult, or else I didn’t deserve it. Also, it had to be at a normal, “stable” 9-5 job with hourly pay and cushy benefits.

I’m not trying to imply at all that making money is “easy”, but what I found was that once my financial inner blueprint changed – and with it my relationship with money – so, too, did my results in finding more money – or rather, money finding me!

Don't flush your money down the toilet like toilet paper! Hold on to every penny and use it wisely!

Before you can ever achieve financial freedom as an exotic dancer – or as an entrepreneur in general – you first have to understand your past behavior and your personal relationship with money.

Are you a Spender, a Saver, or do you Give it all away? Do you subconsciously feel that you don’t deserve to make a lot of money and, therefore, you don’t?

Do you manage to always get dead-end jobs, work tireless hours and just scrape by?

Or what if you already make a good chunk of change, but you have nothing to show for it? This is the plight of most dancers! You seem to “lose it all,” or spend it without ever putting any away or investing it to make more money in order to secure your financial future. Why do we do these crazy things to sabotage ourselves?
Because We’re Human.

The reasons that we sabotage ourselves, spend money we don’t have, never make any money to begin with, or fight some other roadblock when it comes to our finances are many, varied and specific to each of us.

More than likely we don’t even realize what we are doing to keep ourselves from achieving the very success we ultimately crave, but haven’t yet figured out how to achieve, because our damn brain and its subconscious training gets in the way.

The answer is different for everyone as to what’s holding you back with your individual relationship with money, but before you can ever take the next step in achieving financial freedom as an exotic dancer, you better get it figured out quickly – and then work hard to change it!

So use this opportunity in my strip school to learn your own habits with money so that you can stop spending it all and put some away towards your future! Post your questions on the blog below and I will personally respond!

Or tell the naysayers that...

Let’s be honest. Most of the American population does not attend gentlemen’s clubs, so they are completely in the dark about what really goes on in Exotic Stripping. Religious organizations are against them – but there is dirty business in every other industry that goes on in broad daylight, even at places that the average person believes to be respectable. Just look at the White House and Wall Street throughout their respective – if not respectable – histories!

I admit that I have made mistakes in exotic stripping just like anyone else makes mistakes when they are starting out in a new profession. Those mistakes come from not being confident and true to who you are. Some come from inexperience and being naïve. Thinking confidently and thinking outside of the box has allowed me personally to overcome any obstacles I have had to face. And that part is not easy, because too often we are our own worst enemies.

The key to being successful at exotic stripping – or anything else in life that will lead you to freedom beyond what most people ever have the pleasure of experiencing – is positive thinking. Think about how you can do something, not about why you can’t.

Take the challenge and Dream Big. You can make a substantial amount of money and live the American dream. You can feel comfortable in your own skin in public. You can schmooze with men and women of any class and caliber. You Are Beautiful and you have characteristics that the world needs to see.

The last thing I want to do is waste your time. My videos will teach you traits you can go out and use today that will allow you to achieve all of your dreams – including how to be a successful independent entrepreneur. And I want you to have as much fun as possible while doing it! This learning experience is not at all like when you were in school and forced to learn things you didn’t want to do!

Wouldn't you rather be doing something more beneficial that will further your life financially?

I’m sure that when you were sitting in certain classes in high school, you were thinking, “I’m never going to use this in the real world!” Our high schools and colleges these days are teaching people information that is not practical; they certainly don’t teach them how to make money or how to sell. And that is how you survive in today’s world and take care of yourself and your family! With the cost of medical care alone plus inflation, this is definitely something you should think about long term!

The things I will teach you, you can go out and use today. And most likely you will not be dancing for more than 10 years. You may only want to dance part-time; that’s fine, too. All of the skills you will learn in my videos and through exotic stripping, you will need later to be successful in life after your dancing days are over.

This is all for learning about life and how to deal with people. Negotiation, professionalism, how to make and invest money, and look good while you’re doing it. If you watch my videos and practice the concepts at your club, you will be very successful later in life with much less effort and much more potential.

Think of it as a real-world college education, instead of being locked away at some institution that is isolated from reality. I was there. Don’t get me wrong, having an education is one of the most valuable assets you can have, so go and get yours! – but when you get out into the real world and into real life you get a whole NEW education! The real education on living successfully! Most people don’t even use their degrees for what they actually end up doing as a profession! As long as you HAVE a degree and you learn from experience how to build solid relationships with people through exotic dancing, you will be able to have a successful career.

The point of all of this is that I was raised “programmed,” like so many of our youth are today. Once I started getting out into the real world – especially in my relationships – I had major baggage because of who I thought I was. The person I had been molded to be all of my life was nothing like who I really was, or am today. It took me a long time to figure that out! Now that I surround myself with upstanding and successful people and have become successful myself, I am so much happier with my life!

Many people think that poor people are the happiest because they live simple lives and don’t need much to live. That is the furthest from the truth! There have been multiple studies that have shown that middle class and above are much happier because they have more options, freedom, they can take care of themselves if they get sick, and they can support their families and make a difference in this life, leaving behind a legacy that gets passed on for generations. They can also have nice things and live in a beautiful place and live longer lives. But it takes time, hard work, and many years of sacrifice.

Most wealthy people aren’t born with a silver spoon in their mouths – they had to work their way from nothing, against all odds, and create value that people will buy. All of this class warfare going on in America with the Occupy Wall Street movements around the country are bass ackwards. The fact that there are more wealthy people in America means that you and I have a better chance to get there! Because THEY did! Starting from the same place or WORSE than what we’ve had to! If there were less wealthy people, less nice places to go, less economic growth, less amazing shopping malls, that would mean that our country is in a lot of trouble and that the money we make in the clubs (like it is in many places right now because of the growth of government robbing the private sector with bigger taxes) will be much less…

I have realized one very important thing: In order to be happy and successful you have to find something you love to do and can make a lot of money doing it. You have to earn high levels of income, invest it wisely and make your money work for you so that you don’t ever need to work again.

I have truly found my passion and I believe that it is worth sharing with the world. I can teach you how to make a six-figure income like I did in exotic stripping; I can do whatever I want, whenever I choose to. It might not be “easy” by your definition, but it’s not as hard as you might think. Really, if making a six-figure salary was too easy, then everyone would be learning how to become an exotic dancer, just like with any other profession. You need to know the ins and outs of the trade because knowledge is power. My Freedom V program will teach you absolutely everything you need to know in order to succeed in this business. It will maximize your potential – along with your nightly income.

I would love to hear your feedback so comment on the blog at how-to-strip.com and definitely “like” our Facebook page called Freedom V for Exotic Dancers. This is Jennifer here with how-to-strip.com Wishing you the best of success!
