Choosing the Right G-String Bikini for Stripping

The g-string bikini is a staple in many strippers’ wardrobes and is an essential feature of the exotic dancing industry. Of course, every guy in the room is going to want to see as much as he can of you, but you have to choose them carefully.  The right g-string isn’t just the one that fits properly (though that’s important too).  Rather, it’s the one that complies with local laws regarding the degree of coverage that’s required.

It’s hard to believe, but women have actually been arrested for dancing in the wrong g-string. This sort of thing is more likely in an election year, when local officials want to be viewed as “tough on crime” and “family friendly.” If you don’t want to be a political casualty, take a look at the advice below.

1.  Make sure your g-string covers the essentials. Policies regarding thong bikinis differ from state to state and establishment to establishment.  Chances are that if you’re working in a full-nude club, you don’t have anything to worry about from either the state or from the club owners.

In the straight-up topless clubs and in non-nude states, counties or cities, you do have to toe a line.  It’s good for business to be on the cutting edge, but don’t ever cross over the line!  Before you dance at a club, you should familiarize yourself with local policy on nudity, both within the legal system and within the club you’re working at.

If you can’t go full nude, then your g-string has to completely cover your vulva.  Don’t test your luck with a Brazilian bikini—you WILL lose eventually, and club owners don’t appreciate getting hit with the large fines that your club wear could cost them.

2.  Make sure your g-string bikini fits properly. You can’t be careless with the sizing on a g-string bikini.  It should come as a no-brainer, but you might be surprised by how many girls out there have lost their bottoms because their g-strings didn’t fit properly.  Too tight and the strings could pop during a strenuous trick.  Too loose and they’ll slide right off your hips.

The best way to avoid an embarrassing slip during your routine is to simply make sure that your bottom fits properly.  A too-small g-string isn’t going to be comfortable and will mar your skin with unsightly red marks.  The fabric over the crotch is also likely to bunch up and slip between your outer lips, and even if such a display isn’t illegal in your area, it’s still really, REALLY uncomfortable!  Trust me, you don’t want that.

Women tend to obsess over their size, but it’s much more important to be honest about what fits than to flatter yourself by buying a smaller size.  Sizes between brands vary a great deal, and no one’s going to see the tag anyway!

3.  Make sure your g-string is well-constructed. Before you wear an outfit on stage, inspect the garments for loose threads, tears and weak spots that could give out during your performance.  With all of the movement that you’ll be doing on stage, the last thing you want is for your strings to rip during your striptease!

As far as aesthetics, choose a g-string bikini that will promote elongation in your torso and also one that sits nicely around your rear.  G-strings that are not appropriately sized will hide some of your best attributes, or reveal them too much!  If you have a nice tan, go with some neon colors or white.  If you are lighter skinned, go with colors like pale pink or black that will complement your complexion.

If you make certain that all of these bases are covered, you should have no problem finding a g-string that works for your performance and will keep you out of legal hot water.  Remember, it’s always better to make money than throw it away on legal fees!

Somebody was telling me about these things called pasties that you wear inside your g-string somehow and it keeps everything in place and not falling out. What is that and how does that work?
