Choosing your strip club is one of the most important business decisions you will make as an exotic dancer. Your club will determine which customers you will be marketing yourself to and how much income potential you will have. I would recommend finding the top three strip clubs in your city as your highest priority. Some jurisdictions have laws against gentlemen’s clubs, so you may find they are just outside of your city limits or county line. Once you locate your local clubs, be cautious in choosing which ones you want to work in.
There are three types of strip clubs and I only suggest working in the top two categories of establishments:
1. Upscale Gentlemen’s Clubs
2. Neighborhood Men’s Clubs
3. Lower Tier “Titty Bars.”
Upscale Strip Clubs will have a high-end clientele. Club services and alcohol will be pricier than the alternatives. There is often a membership requirement as well. This is great because the more money the client is spending, the more money you will make. In my opinion, it is always best to work at a high-end club. If you watch this video series and abide by it, you will quickly become the top exotic dancer at your club, so settling for working in a lower-end club – even in bad economic times – is not necessary. In every business, the top 20% of earners will make 80% of the money.

Choosing the best club for you and getting started working as an entertainer can be challenging. I’ve had questions from dancers asking, “how can I present myself to make the most money? What do I wear? How do I handle all of the men I work with? How can I avoid being intimidated and feeling sub-par compared to all of the other beautiful dancers?
One of the most important things you do in your life is to make a first impression. Many other exotic dancer stories tell how someone started out horribly, made no money on the first night, and were scared out of their minds, having no idea what was going on. I will help you to avoid this scenario in its harshest forms. Of course, be reasonable with your expectations: don’t think you can just waltz in and make a thousand dollars on your first night! Just do your best starting out and be satisfied with that.

Throughout my career as an exotic dancer I’ve seen it all. I know you know what I mean! Stripping has a way of educating you on all sorts of people, how to act in social situations, how to dress and shape your body, how to develop a winning edge in your sales skills and how to be an independent business woman.
I’ve come up with this list of the top 10 ways that you can be successful as an exotic dancer – whether you are just learning how to become a stripper or whether you’ve been dancing for 10 years. It will also embed success skills for when you move on in your life and in your career. Having this visual in your locker, dressing room, mirror or refrigerator will work wonders at helping you to stay on your A game!
1. Find your inner hunger and your inner passion, and commit yourself to living it. Let your desire to attain your dreams fuel your will and your drive to succeed. Be flexible and learn to rebound when obstacles appear. Having tough skin and a solid sense of yourself and your goals is necessary in life and in this business.
2. Determine what you really want out of life. Turn that knowledge into your life goal. What are you willing to do–or do without–in order to achieve it? Write it down and remind yourself daily what you are going to achieve. There is no reward without sacrifice, but the greatest sacrifice is living without reward. Don’t let anything stop you!

Whenever anyone makes a purchasing decision – Whether it’s for a new pair of shoes or a new home -they are making a purchase based on their need for a reward, while also avoiding taking too much of a risk. Your client is also seeking a reward – YOUR COMPANY -while minimizing his risk – giving you his money. Your objective is to show them that the reward of spending time in your dazzling, captivating presence is worth their letting go of a little cash!
Your Client Has Three Choices: He can buy from You, buy from Another Dancer, or Not Buy At All.

Closing the deal is the hardest part of the sales process, and most dancers hate it.
We tense up, feel urgency, shy away, or start to make conversational mistakes. We can feel nervous and become uneasy because we have a fear of failure or rejection.
I have also seen dancers who are too pushy and abrupt. They will just go up to a customer and say, “Hey, want a dance?” This fails miserably every time because none of the groundwork has been established.

1. Management and Staff has to be 100% “all in” with any kind of training, methods, ideas, and action items, or they will not be effective. This means that you as the leader in your club must figure out a way for your staff to buy into your plans like it is their OWN! Give them incentives, show them you’re excited about it, and let your enthusiasm trickle down from the top to the bottom! A team that slaves together stays together, knowing that their hard work and dedication to you will pay off!
